3rd T20 - Pakistan lead series 2-0Tomorrow, 10:00 PM
Queen's Park Oval
Once again by the brilliance of shadab khan pakistan beat west indies in the 2nd t20 . pakistan now leading the series 2-0 hopefully clinch the series away.
Toss Prediction
The last three matches out of the four T20 internationals that have been played at the Queen's Park Oval till date have been won by the side batting first. And also since the bowlers usually find more support from the pitch during the latter half of a match at this ground, the team that wins the toss here on Saturday is more likely to bat first. West Indies have a good toss record here, winning three times out of four which is why we predict them to win the toss in this match.
West Indies
Team News
No injuries to any of the players were reported at the time of writing. West Indies are expected to field the same group of eleven that played Pakistan in the second T20 international.
Key Players
Evin Lewis has failed to fire in both the games while Chadwick Walton has not been able to convert his starts into big scores. This will put additional pressure on Marlon Samuels who looked good in his knock of 44 in the second T20. Sunil Narine has been the most impressive of the West Indian bowlers. His economy rate is under 6 in both the games and he even notched up three wickets in the last game. The spinner will be the key man for West Indies on this spin-friendly surface.
Recent Form
Since beating India at Lauderhill last year in August, West Indies have played five T20 internationals. All of these matches have been played against Pakistan and the hosts have ended up on the losing side in all of them. Their ordinary batting performance has cost them the first two games of this series.
Pakistan
Team News
Pakistan are unlikely to make changes to their lineup after their win in the last game. Good news for the team is that all of their players are free from injuries.
Key Players
Shoaib Malik has top-scored for Pakistan twice in two games now with an unbeaten 38 in the first match followed by 28 in the next. He has been ably supported by Babar Azam who has made decent contributions so far. Shadab Khan is turning out to be a great find of the tour for Pakistan. The legspinner claimed a four-wicket haul the other day to increase his wicket tally to seven in the series already. With the West Indian batsmen struggling against him, Shadab will be the trump card for Pakistan in this match.
Recent Form
Victory in the last game has extended Pakistan's five-match winning streak to six and they seem to be enjoying their good run in the 20-overs format at the moment. Their last five T20 wins have all come against the West Indies and they have been really impressive with the ball so far in this series.
